Science, Technology and Mathematics Education (STME)

The Division of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Education offers multiple undergraduate and graduate mathematics and science teacher education pathways for prospective STEM teachers and high quality master's and doctoral-level preparation for mathematics and science education researchers, teacher educators, school and university administrators, and policy makers.

Graduate students in DSTME identify an area of concentration that guides their graduate studies. The areas of concentration are based on graduate students' interests and the expertise of DSTME faculty. Division of Science, Technology, and Mathematics Education graduate students are provided opportunities to engage in research with faculty, present at national and international conferences, and prepare fully for their next professional role.
