FRESHMAN ADMISSIONS
General Admissions to the University
Prospective freshmen students interested in our teacher education programs must submit an undergraduate student application to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Application Deadlines: Fall Admission
Priority Consideration Deadlines:
November 1: Part I application deadline.
December 1: Part II application deadline.
If Part I has not been submitted, both Part I and Part II are due by December 1 (If you are mailing documents, these must be postmarked by December 1).
Regular Application Date
January 20: Both Part I and Part II are due by this date.
Application Deadlines: Spring Admission
December 1
Applications will be reviewed for admission and decisions released on a rolling basis for spring (January) enrollment. Due to space limitations, early application is strongly recommended.

COLLEGE OF EDUCATION ADMISSIONS
First-time freshmen students that are admitted to the University for the Fall or Spring Semester are automatically admitted to the Pre-Professional Education program of their choice. Freshmen applicants interested in an Education major are highly encouraged to apply to the University by the priority deadline of December 1st.
Once admitted to the University, students in the Education majors will apply to the Professional Program in Teacher Education at around the time they reach 45 credits. This application process will consists of satisfying academic and experiential requirements, as well as passing the Praxis I exam.
