Service

KDP members help the community by participating in service activities,
and members also gain experience through them.


Maryland Day

At the Maryland Day 2004, our chapter made get well cards for the children's hospital in Washington, D.C.


 

Some past activities include:
  • Making Literacy Games for local teachers
  • Participating in Reading is Fundamental Week (members read to children and create a lesson plan)
  • Co-Hosting Terps for Tots (a toy drive to gather new toys for needy children)

  • Participating with the Student Council for Exceptional Children in a Book Drive

Members are expected to participate in order to uphold the ideals of
Fidelity to Humanity, Service, and Toil.
