Active Participation in the Chapter

Every semester the chapter will participate in various service, professional development, fundraising, and general body meetings. These activities will be decided by the executive committee. To uphold the ideals of Fidelity to Humanity, Service, and Toil, members are expected to participate as much as possible in addition to paying the annual National AND Chapter dues.

Members who maintain active participation may attend the Kappa Delta Pi graduation event. In order to be considered an active participate, undergraduate students are expected to partake in at least 75% of planned activities each semester. And at least 50% commitment from graduate students. Everyone must participate in some fundraising. If a student meets this requirement for three full semesters, they are then excused from this requirement during their final (student-teaching) semester. (As of May 2004)
