education for individuals with disabilities. Support from the
U.S. Department of Education enables the clearinghouse to serve
as an information exchange about educational support services,
policies, procedures, adaptations, and opportunities at American
campuses, vocational-technical schools, and other postsecondary
training entities.

More colleges are joining this list in order to provide more
regarding more schools. Provides information on various laws
and how they impact postsecondary education. The resources offered
on the site provides links to sources ranging from assistive
technology to transition planning. Provides a Planning Worksheet
section and Guidance Activities section that assess’ a student’s
readiness to move on to college and prepares that student for
college. These worksheets and activities are excellent tools
because they are actual units and lesson plans that teachers,
students, and parents can access from the website.

base and best practices related to self-determination and self-advocacy
that is currently being reviewed by the University of North Carolina
at Charlotte. This web site currently contains a list of self-determination

self-determination, and other features will be added.
