College of Education graduation ceremony set for May 22, 2006
University commencement ceremonies to be held May 21 at Comcast Center
COLLEGE PARK, MD (April, 2006) On behalf of the College of Education faculty and staff, Dean Edna Mora Szymanski will preside over the spring graduation ceremonies set for noon on Monday, May 22, 2006 in the Comcast Center at the University of Maryland.
Approximately 480 students will graduate from the College of Education with degrees or certifications from one of the six departments within the college. They will join the ranks of the colleges distinguished alumni comprised of educators, entrepreneurs, administrators, counselors and professionals. As of April 18, the breakdown for the May 2006 degrees to be awarded is as follows: 37 doctoral, 200 masters, and 240 undergraduate. Tickets are not required for guests who wish to attend the graduation ceremony, but all visitors are advised to arrive early to secure parking [view commencement invitation pdf].
