Landmarks and Legacies, the College of Education History Project, wants you to be a part of our history! We are asking our current faculty and staff to share information, materials, and even personal recollections about significant events in the College's history. With the assistance of historian Elizabeth Tobey, project coordinator, we will review and incorporate pertinent information into the history database for possible use in chapters or the timeline. The Landmarks and Legacies timeline will soon be published on a special web site (www.education.umd.edu/collegehistory) later this month as part of the University of Maryland 150^th Anniversary Celebration, and a display of artifacts will be installed by early December in the Benjamin Building.
