The TWT Conference offers opportunities for faculty, instructors, teaching assistants and instructional technology support staff to discuss, demonstrate or explore topics involving the impact technology has on teaching activities and learning outcomes. Council of University System Faculty (CUSF) Undergraduate Student Research Day in Annapolis

The CUSF is organizing an undergraduate Student Research Day in Annapolis, Feb. 15-16, 2006 for the State Legislature. Individuals and teams (with support from their faculty advisors) are invited to submit projects that would make good poster presentations. Proposal forms are available online. Students will be notified by Feb. 1 and should plan to be available at their poster to answer questions, etc. for a 4-hour period on one of the days. The Maryland Center for Undergraduate Research can help with transportation.

Weight Watchers at Work
|
All are welcome to join this 12-week weight loss program (Jan. 12-April 6). Participants meet from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. every Thursday at the University Health Center. Each meeting includes a confidential weigh-in, lecture, and discussion with a trained Weight Watchers leader. Fee is $150, due on Jan. 5.
