| A new study from the Child Development Laboratory, directed by Human Development Professor and Distinguished Scholar-Teacher Nathan A. Fox, shows that early intervention with cochlear implants can make a significant difference in auditory development in deaf children. Conducted in collaboration with Eric Knudsen, a professor of neurobiology at Stanford University, the study was published in the Dec. 8 Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and featured in various online articles.
