College Awareness Facilitator: The Institute is looking for a part-time employee (10 hours per week) for the spring semester for the position of a College Awareness Facilitator. The College Awareness Facilitator will work with a group of 7^th and 8^th grade students on a monthly basis during school hours at a local Prince Georges County middle school. The workshops led by the College Awareness Facilitator will help students make the connection between middle school academics, rigorous high school courses, postsecondary education, and career choices. The facilitator also will be responsible for assisting in the development of the modules presented to students. Preferably, candidates will have previous experience working with a diverse population of middle school students in a school setting and be able to actively engage middle school students.  Creativity and enthusiasm is a must for this position.  The candidate must also have reliable transportation and willing to travel to a local middle school. Partial tuition remission is included for graduate students at the University of Maryland, College Park.
