*The Center for Children, Relationships, and Culture
This Center, housed in the Department of Human Development, facilitates collaborative research projects on social, cognitive, and emotional development, coordinates a weekly colloquium and seminar series, and hosts Visiting Scholars from around the world.

* K-16 Center
The Center's mission is to help make the expertise and research work of the College of Education more relevant to the needs of the school systems.

* Maryland Assessment Research Center for Education Success (MARCES)
MARCES, a project of the Department of Measurement, Statistics, and Evaluation in the College of Education at the University of Maryland, provides support to the range of assessment activities in the State, the region and nation by conducting basic and applied research to enhance the quality of assessment practice and knowledge.

*Maryland Institute for Minority Achievement and Urban Education (MIMAUE)
A large scale research and outreach Institute working collaboratively with K-12 partners to raise minority achievement and improve urban schools.

*Mid-Atlantic Center for Mathematics Teaching and Learning
A collaborative effort by mathematics and mathematics education faculty at the University of Maryland, the University of Delaware, and The Pennsylvania State University to develop an innovative doctoral program and special courses for pre-service and in-service teachers of mathematics.

*Maryland Literacy Research Center
Contributing to the field of literacy.

*Special Education Research Centers within the College of Education
Information and web site links to the six research centers within the Department of Special Education.

*Federal Region III Community Rehabilitation Providers Rehabilitation Continuing Education Program (RRCEP)
Assists human service providers throughout the mid-Atlantic region in acquiring skills and information to improve competitive employment outcomes for individuals with significant disabilities through training and education.
