Standards

MEI is a member of and strives to meet the standards established by four internationally recognized professional organizations for supporting international students, including:

• TESOL, the international organization that benchmarks performance in the field of English language teaching
  
  
• UCIEP, an independent consortium that advances professional standards in instruction and the management of English language programs in U.S. colleges and universities.
  
  
• CEA: MEI is accredited by the Commission on English Program Accreditation (CEA) and strives to uphold the CEA Standards for English Language Programs.
  
  
• NAFSA, the Association of International Educators.
