Inserting a Sound

Many presentations are given more personality with the addition of sounds into the slide show. To add a sound file to your slide click on "Insert"  "Movies and Sounds"  "Sound From File" as shown in the graphic below.

Clicking yes to this question will allow the sound to automatically play when the slide is activated during your presentation. If you say no to this question the sound will wait until the presenter clicks on the sound icon in the slide show to play itself. This gives the presenter the option of playing or not playing the sound according to the situation.

You will always have the option of setting the sound to play however you wish. By clicking on "Slide Show"  "Custom Animation," (shown below) you will be given the opportunity to change the settings of the sound file.

This image will appear when altering the "Custom Animation" settings of the slide. Clicking the "Play using animation order" you will allow the sound to be played in its order in the slide show. In the following example the sound would be played after the image was introduced because it is listed second on the animations list.
