The main "product" of this project is shown here, a book of case studies of student inquiry written by teachers for other teachers and for teacher educators. This project also served as professional development for the teachers and provided data for research about elementary students' use of analogies, mechanistic reasoning, and approaches to learning. Every two weeks, researchers from our team met with the teachers to discuss video snippets of the teachers' classes. Although this particular project is finished, we are currently engaged in similar work with other teachers as part of other projects.
