Doctoral Program:
Secondary Special Education and Transition Services


The doctoral program in Secondary Special Education and Transition Services prepares individuals to assume leadership positions in universities, state and local agencies, policy organizations, and the federal government.

The doctoral program incorporates intensive coursework in secondary special education and transition services along with courses in research design and methodology. Students also take coursework in areas related to their specific interests or goals (e.g., rehabilitation services, policy studies). Earn a Ph.D. from one of the nation’s highest ranked graduate programs.

Unique program components include:

red arrow Research seminars enhance communication and stimulate the critical analysis of ideas
