Graduate Student Association

Greetings to Graduate Students in the Department of Education Policy Studies (EDPS).

The EDPS Graduate Student Association (GSA) is a body of graduate students who come together to represent the needs and interests of graduate students to the department and to put on proactive programs designed to support your graduate experience. Typically, we will hold several informational brown bag lunches and social events designed to develop our academic endeavors and to foster a sense of community among EDPS students. Examples include: successfully navigating the university’s administrative processes, finding a research topic, use of methodological tools, etc

If you would like to get involved or have questions, issues, or concerns you would like addressed in your department or the wider campus community, please contact the any of the board members below.

How to get involved:

Attend a Meeting: All students are welcome to attend the GSA meetings in order to learn more about what we do and how to get involved. Look for an announcement on the department’s listserv or check the latest GSA Meeting Minutes for information.

Join the Listserv: The Education Policy Community Listserv is an excellent resource for students. The listserv provides a forum for students to discuss important issues and post announcements. Information on subscribing is below.

Hold a Leadership Position: Every year the GSA seeks nominations for people interested in serving the community. If you have questions about the position, contact any board member below. We look forward to working with you in the upcoming year.
