About EDHI

Message from the Chair

I appreciate your interest in the Department of Education Leadership, Higher Education, and International Education (EDHI). As a new department with the mission of preparing education leaders and scholars in international, higher and PreK-12 education we are committed to becoming a vital part of the college and campus community and to enhance the recognition and reputation of our nationally and internationally regarded programs. We believe our programs in Higher Education, International Education Policy and Organizational Leadership afford students the opportunity to work with an outstanding cadre of faculty scholars.

EDHI encourages students to pursue their research interests and to take coursework with faculty in all areas. We are committed to providing a diverse array of scholarly activities and experiences for our students, suited to their individual interests and needs. We are also committed to providing leadership and service to school systems and education agencies involved in international and higher education. Given the strategic location of our campus we are focused upon forming new alliances that will afford exciting opportunities enabling us to continue to attract outstanding faculty and students.
