The Development of Compliance Behavior in High Negative and High Positive Infants.

This is a process-oriented evaluation of the development of compliance behavior in high negative and high positive infants. Through multigroup structural equation modeling, we examined the influence of infant approach and withdrawal tendencies, maternal caregiving behavior in infancy, and maternal discipline in early childhood as they predict compliance behavior at 36 months of age.
