Where do I send my materials?

  • STEP 1: Submit online application (includes Statement of Goals, Research Interests, and Experiences)
  • STEP 2 : Send $60 non-refundable application fee and the Maryland In-State Status Form (if applicable) as well as ALL supplementary materials (GRE scores, transcripts, letters of recommendation) to:
    Enrollment Services Office (ESO) - Graduate Admissions

  • STEP 3: Please notify and send electronic copy of your resume to Dr. Karen Inkelas at kinkelas@umd.edu when you submit your online application and supplementary materials to the Graduate School.
  • STEP 4: After you submit all of your materials to ESO, you will be given a login ID by the university. Once you receive this ID, you may check the status of your application online by logging in at https://apra.umd.edu
