Service-Learning Opportunities Offered through the Department of Curriculum and Instruction

 

The Department of Curriculum and Instruction encourages all prospective and current Education majors to participate in service-learning opportunities. These programs are designed to give students experience with elementary and secondary students prior to entering the year-long internship. Most of these opportunities are available on or near the University of Maryland campus. Some of these experiences offer academic credits or a small stipend for your participation.
