Harvard Professor and winner of a MacArthur "genius" award. Gould is Curator of Invertebrate
Paleontololy at Harvard's Museum of Comparative Zoology. Known for his column, "This View of
Life," in Natural History magazine, as well as for his book The mismeasure of
man, Gould attacks the false determinist science used to legitimate racist views of human
differences.
