The Main Spring Commencement Ceremony is on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at the Comcast Center. Graduates should plan to assemble by 5:45 pm in the Auxiliary Gymnasium, (Room 0601) at the Comcast Center. Parking for students will be available in Lot 4B and the Terrapin Trail Garage. You should wear your academic regalia and line up by college. Tickets are required for Winter Main commencement.

The College of Education graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, May 23rd, at the Cole Field House Student Activities Bldg, at 3:00 pm. Candidates will assemble in the tunnel area (ground floor) by 2:15 pm. Marshals will be present to direct students to appropriate assembly areas. Contact Dr. Kathy Angeletti (301-405-2358; email: kangel@umd.edu) for questions or to help to make arrangements for people with disabilities. Arrangements for people with disabilities should be made by May 16, 2008.

No tickets are required for the College of Education ceremony.

Students should plan to attend both the main commencement ceremony and the college ceremony. The main commencement is designed to bring the entire graduating class and their family and friends together to participate in a university-wide formal ceremony. The college ceremony is of equal importance, especially since each graduate will be individually recognized.
