Human Development Minor
- An EDHD minor will expand your knowledge of people and their potential for growth and development.
- You will gain a strong understanding of the multicultural, diverse and increasingly complex world in which we live and work, and become an informed consumer of research in the field of Human Development.
- Perfect minor for majors such as Psychology, Family Science, Sociology, and Criminal Justice and open to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
- A minimum of 15 credits/5 classes is required to obtain the minor, which is spread across five different content areas (cognitive development, social development, language development, lifespan development, and research methods).
- Personalized advising and course selection so that a student can individualize an area of concentration that relates to his/her major and future plans.
- An EDHD minor will open doors for research opportunities on campus, as well as future employment and graduate school.
