Human Development Minor

An EDHD minor will expand your knowledge of people and their potential for growth and development.
You will gain a strong understanding of the multicultural, diverse and increasingly complex world in which we live and work, and become an informed consumer of research in the field of Human Development.
Perfect minor for majors such as Psychology, Family Science, Sociology, and Criminal Justice and open to Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors.
A minimum of 15 credits/5 classes is required to obtain the minor, which is spread across five different content areas (cognitive development, social development, language development, lifespan development, and research methods).
Personalized advising and course selection so that a student can individualize an area of concentration that relates to his/her major and future plans.
An EDHD minor will open doors for research opportunities on campus, as well as future employment and graduate school.
