Scoring Rubric

The students will be expected to know detailed information about the flight as a result of their own research and information presented during the oral presentations.  The students should understand the history and struggle leading up to modern day aviation, realizing that flight did not used to be as simple as it is today.  The students will learn to investigate topics of interest through searches done on the Internet.
 
 
 

Content Aesthetics Team Co-operation
Score of  3 Ample evidence of under-standing of the content.  Provides detailed accurate facts of correct topic area. Provides detailed visual aids.  Very creative and interesting presentation. Everyone shows knowledge and participates equally during presentation.  Group members interact and communicate well.
Score of  2 Some evidence of under-standing of the content.  Provides accurate facts of correct topic area.  Provides some visual aids.  Presentation is creative and interesting. Group members show some knowledge and most members participate during the presentation.  Students in the group communicate and interact only when necessary.
Score of  1 Little evidence of under-standing of the content.  Provides either inaccurate facts or based on incorrect topic area.  Provides little or no visual aids, and the presentation does not hold students' attention. Group members do not show sufficient knowledge and workload is unequally distributed.  Interaction between group members is almost non- existent.
