The Abdomen Segment Of The Butterfly

The last segment of the butterfly is called the abdomen. This section is separated into another 11 segments. This is the part of the butterfly where butterflies digest their food. Also, this section of the butterfly contains a row of spiracles which are tiny holes that allow the butterfly to get air. Finally, the abdomen is where the butterfly's nervous system and reproductive organs are.
