Teacher education certification programs

Teacher Education Resources

Our teacher education programs prepare students to become highly qualified to teach throughout the school systems in the State of Maryland. Within the College of Education our goal is to prepare beginning and advanced-level professional students with a strong foundation of research, skills, clinical practices, knowledge and the commitment required to ensure excellence and equity for all students in the public schools and classrooms they serve.  To also focus on becoming leaders and advocates for those who are underserved and continue to collaborate with high standards within their schools and community.

Please contact your program regarding certification requirements for your specific program. Please visit the Maryland State Department of Education certification website for more information.
